Your Dog's Trust and Loyalty
Quina Eiche Himmel
CD, CGC
April 1996 - November 2006

Well, what can I say about my Quina.  She was everything I
could ever want in a companion dog.  She was gentle,
especially with small children.  I don't think she ever met a
person or other dog she didn't like.  Her prey drive was a
little too high for small critters though.  She went just
about everywhere with me and people welcomed her.  She
was truly my best friend and partner and a credit to the
German Shepherd breed.
She was my first German Shepherd
Dog and my first
obedience dog and she taught me about frustration,
patience, and pride in a job well done.
Quina was diagnosed with bone cancer in Nov "06 at the
age of 10.5  and I had to say good-bye to her.
That was one of my darkest days and her loss will be felt
forever but I smile every time I see this picture.  It was
taken when she passed her Canine Good Citizenship test
and she looked so happy and excited.
Quina's memory is etched permanently in my heart

RNR's Apple Fritter
"Frits"
Frits is a  Rat Terrier.  He
can be quite a handful at
times and is currently
teaching me how to have a
sense of humor--patience
is a virtue with him as well.
He is definately a clown
and wakes up happy every
day.  We are currently
working towards a Rally
Obedience Title
Shirstar's Solar Flare
"Guiness"
Guiness is my 8 year old
sheltie.    We trained for a
long time for the
obedience ring but he just
couldn't overcome his
shyness.  He still loves to
work though and we
sometimes go to the park
and "practice" then play
frisbe which is his favorite
thing to do. (besides bark)
